The North Shore Firearms Training Academy is certified by the National Rifle Association (NRA) and the Massachusetts State Police to teach firearms safety.  In order to obtain a firearms permit in the state of Massachusetts, you must complete a firearms safety course. Upon completion of the class, you will be issued two certificates allowing you to process your firearms application with the police department in the city in which you reside. After submitting your application and your certificates, pending approval by your police department, you will receive your firearms permit. We provide the necessary course work for Massachusetts residents to meet the training requirement for their Massachusetts Class A, Class B, and Fire Identification Permit.
